It has been recently renewed and it consists of a living room with a sofa that can be split into 2 single beds, table and chairs, a cosy and fully equipped kitchen, 1 bedroom with a king size bed, a second bedroom with a king size bed (that can be separated in 2 single beds), 2 full bathrooms with shower. The apartment has free reliable Wi-Fi.

This holiday home is on the 6th floor with elevator of a building located very close to the Colosseum. The terrace is equipped with table and chairs. The apartment can welcome up to 7 people. Washing machine, clothes dryer, air conditioning and wi-fi are provided for free. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare breakfast and meals: stove, oven, refrigerator, freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, dishes, dishwasher, etc. The apartment is bright and very quiet both during the day and at nights.

This property is just as beautiful as it looks in the photos. The view from the patio is stunning. We began our days with breakfast on the patio and ended them with wine in the evening. The apartment is in a secure building and is spacious, clean, modern, and quiet. The kitchen is updated, and the washer-dryer is a fantastic convenience. It’s located within walking distance of metro bus and subway lines. Paolo, the property owner, was always available to answer our questions about Rome. We rented the apartment for the month of October and enjoyed its warm charm every day. We would highly recommend this property as the ‘Best of the Best’ in Rome.

La lavatrice/asciugatrice è stata molto utile. Eravamo a pochi passi da molte attrazioni. Paolo è un host eccezionale. Ha organizzato il trasporto da e per l’aeroporto e ci ha dato indicazioni utilissime per mangiare in zona e in altre areee di Roma. Ha risposto ad ogni nostra domanda in brevissimo tempo. Book this apartment! The view from the large roof deck is amazing. There are two big bedrooms and two modern bathrooms. The kitchen is well-appointed. The washer/dryer was very useful. We were within walking distance of many sights. Paolo is a great host. He arranged transport to and from the airport and provided lots of good information for the area. He was also very responsive if we had a question. I hope we can stay again. Highly recommend!

La laveuse/sécheuse était très utile. Nous étions à distance de marche de nombreux sites touristiques. Paolo est un hôte formidable. Groupe de 4 voyageant pour fêter un anniversaire. Tout s’est bien passé et nous n’avons rencontré aucun problème. I always like booking with a PROFESSIONAL host, but Paolo is the king of Superhosts. Everything was perfect, the apartment is bang next to the Coliseum, fully airconditioned, comfortable with lovely views of S. Paolo is an excellent host. He organized a ride (for a very reasonable fee) from the airport to the apartment. It was very helpful. The check-in was easy and we loved the bottle of wine for us which was amazing! The terrace itself is just up an easy set of stairs and that was the highlight with gorgeous views of St. Peter’s and the Colosseo. The Wi-Fi was fast; the washer/dryer combo was a real help as well (we travel very light); having a dishwasher was also a plus.

Abbiamo soggiornato per un mese tra Natale e Capodanno in questo luminoso appartamento arredato con gusto. È situato al 6 ° piano di un edificio con ascensore ben tenuto. Nous avons passé un mois dans cet appartement lumineux meublé avec goût. Il est situé au 6ème étage (il y a un ascenseur) d’un immeuble bien entretenu. We stayed for one month over Christmas and New Year at this tastefully furnished bright appartment. It is perfectly located on the 6th floor (there is a lift) of a well maintained building. Just one floor above, the private beautiful roof terrace is located, offering a spectacular view towards the Collosseum and St. Peter. Despite its vicinity to the city centre the place is remarkably quiet and peaceful. Paolo is a very friendly host. Everything was just perfect.

The view from the private terrace is unbeatable! Ideal for breakfast in the morning sunshine, a barbecue and drinks in the evening watching the sun set. The apartment is well connected to public transport, but we just walked everywhere. Paolo’s recommendations for dining options in the neighborhood were also amazing. Paolo’s apartment is more than you can wish for a short or long holiday in Rome. The house is very central and a couple of blocks far from the Colosseum. The view from the terrace is magnificent. The apartment is fully equipped and has everything you need. Paolo is the perfect host, kind, generous and extremely available. As the door is self-locking, we locked ourselves out by mistake. Paolo sorted us out within 20min. The best host to have in a big city. I truly recommend this property.

Tutti i punti di interesse sono raggiungibili a piedi, ma all’occorrenza si può utilizzare la metropolitana. The appartment itself were very convenient and spacious for 5 people.
The location is great. 5 min walking to Collosseo, Holy stairs (10 min), Laterrano Basilic (15 min), San Pietro in Vincoly (15 min) and etc.

Wow! What a place to stay!
The key thing for us when choosing this property was its location and – even better! – the view from the private terrace. It really is like in the picture. The apartment is 10 minutes gentle walk to the Colosseum, another 5 to the Forum, half an hour to Trevi. Breakfast on the terrace every morning overlooking the Colosseum, the “Wedding Cake” in the background and St Peter’s Basilica clearly visible in the distance – wonderful! Evening sunsets pretty spectacular too.
The apartment itself is not “boutique” but its pretty good – clean, spacious, well maintained and well equipped. The two bedrooms (one double, one twin) had plenty of space and the beds were extremely comfortable – probably the best we’ve slept in on various city breaks and holidays. The kitchen and bathroom would benefit from a little tender loving care, but the overall impression is great.
Special mention for Paulo. The information he sent us in advance was really useful and on arrival he provided us with more useful information about places to visit and good places to eat (there’s loads of them within a 10 minute walk, from decent restaurants to cheap and cheerful pizzarias and an excellent gelateria). We booked taxis to and from the airport through him and they arrived when expected. He can also book tours and trips, although we’d sorted ours out independently in advance. A very nice and helpful man, keen to help his guests get the best out of their visit to Rome.
If we ever go back to Rome, this is the first place we’d check for availability. A great place for families.

This is a fabulous apartment! Paolo is a great host. Since this was our first trip to Rome, I had a lot of questions before the trip. He answered all of them promptly and was very kind. When we arrived, he advised on the best places to eat and shop. There is a small elevator, which is so helpful since the apartment is on the 6th floor. The kitchen is well equipped. The beds are SO comfortable. The absolute best part is the private terrace. The view is absolutely spectacular and looks directly at the Colosseum! The sunsets were breathtaking. However, my favorite thing to see were the sunrises. Walking to the Colosseum takes 10 minutes and it’s very close to the train and bus stations. It’s extremely quiet and relaxing. There were five of us (4 adults, 1 child) traveling and we felt safe in the neighborhood. We had a rental car and parking was readily available. I highly recommend this rental. We hope to return soon.

The view from the terrace is what led us to book the apartment and it is fantastic but so is the apartment. Plenty of room for my wife and I and our two adult children. The sofa folds out to a bed so both boys had their own room.
We arrived at the train station and called Paolo who met us at the gate of the apartment. We walked from the train station but I would suggest a cab as the streets aren’t clearly marked. I think the cab with the luggage back to the train station was 10 Euro which included a tip.
Paolo showed us the apartment and the terrace (Did I mention the fantastic view?) then asked what we hoped to see in Rome. We told him the Colosseum and Sistine Chapel for sure. He said it was late notice but he could possibly set us up with a tour of the Sistine Chapel which he did with a phone call. He then told us how to get to the metro, where the supermarket was as well as places to dine in the neighborhood. There is a notebook in the apartment with that information.
The Colosseum is only a few blocks away so we walked there that afternoon, picked up a few pizzas and some wine on the way back to the apartment and had supper on the terrace. The kitchen is well equipped and had everything that we needed.
We took the metro to the Vatican and nearly walked all the way back to the apartment. We were planning to walk but it began raining heavily at the Vittoriano so we hopped on a bus and rode 5-6 blocks to the apartment. While this doesn’t describe physically the apartment it does indicate how it is located.
I emailed a friend a picture that I took from the terrace and she asked how I find such great places to stay. It was indeed a great place and Paolo is a tremendous host and a very nice person. We would stay here again without thinking twice and I will be suggesting it to friends who will be visiting Rome this Fall.
